    Hi,

The label seemed to be a very ugly deskjet printed fake...

Zyklon was sold during the whole XXth century everywhere or so in Continental Europe, and is still produced as "Uragan D2" by the Czech firm Lučební závody Draslovka a.s. Kolín (and the use is permitted again in France since February 5, 2018).

Below is an interesting PDF explaining how to use the "Uragan D2" (nothing changed from the pre-war/post-war Zyklon manuals, the can is a 3 kg can).

    http://www.szu.cz/uploads/Vzdelavaci...Odehnalova.pdf

You can notice that now cardboard discs are used instead of the porous stones .

Many chimical products are as deadly as the Zyklon and can be easily found in your kitchen or your garage.
The SS only used it in an horrible way...

You can still find Zyklon empty boxes in old farms, so boxes and labels are just overpriced by a morbid market...

    See You

How is it used? Just open the can and let the contence react with the air?

        Hi,

yes, you need to be (now) in full NBC-kind of suit (in Birkenau the SS only wear gloves and gas masks), and use the Zyklon/Uragan if the temperature is over 12°C (the SS had the same problems in Birkenau due to the cold weather during the winter time in Silesia) so the Zyklon/Uragan can transform from liquid to gas.

You need to open the can (the special opener is still the same as in the past, but in Birkenau it is possible that the SS used a kind of ice pick as the hole made in the can should be big enough to let the porous stones fall into the gas chambers through the roof holes), and put outside of it the cardboards in which you find the liquid Uragan.
With the air, the Zyklon/Uragan change to gas.

Then you need to wait a planned time before entering again the building.

It should be noted that Zyklon was used in many camps (including the other Auschwitz camps) to "clean" barracks of animal pests.

You will find more infos in the Pressac book available here :

        https://archive.org/details/JCPAusch...TheGasChambers

Pressac was a right-wing revisionnist who worked with the most famous revisitionnist Robert Faurisson. In the early 80's, he discovered that indeed the gas chambers were not a fantasy tale, so he began to work with Serge Klarsfeld and historians. But after the release of various books, he became at the end of his life in the late 90's to "revise" again History, especially about the number of killed Jews & others in the "Aktion Reinhard" camps.

            Hi,

            you're welcome.

I forgot to say that of course the gas masks used for Zyklon B before, during and after the war, had to have a special cartridge made to retain cyanide gas.
Below is a picture of the "J" cartridge against cyanide gas.

I'm also including the usual can opener for the Zyklon/Uragan D2 cans, but it seemed that the SS also used other picks to open the cans for delousing or killing operations.

            See You
