Hi Joe,

From this picture are you able to see if the black stripe is laid down over the swastika disc. I can't tell from the small photo appears it might lay on top of the disc. I'd still be curious to find out if anyone knows for sure how these SS armbands were typically constructed. What were the manufacturing steps or process to complete one?

I think it’s ok to say that gap isn’t something that can be used as a way to say either way.

Hi Tim,

It’s hard to tell. It is however clear now that no gap is acceptable as are the lines in the material.

Hopefully someone will be able to explain further re construction but I’m happy about it’s originality now and I’ve learnt a lot from this. I’m going to put it pride of place in the cabinet with my small SS grouping and enjoy it.
