                        in 35 you would expect the gothic letter cuffband. The Ulrics title is quite later style or foreign produced.

                          U571, the silver trim threads looks this way because the band is cut so short. The tension that would normally have the rows of silver threads appear straight is gone so the threads are relaxed and give this appearance.
