I have been looking at this for almost 20 minutes on and off comparing it to others.
This is just my opinion . . . the CT is fine but looking at others I feel that perhaps the Deutschland weave is a bit to loose ???
I feel this kind of work which somebody destroys a numbered CT and reweaves it is atrocious behavior & destruction.
Personally I would leave it a lone

I'm with David on this one. There is something with the embroidery that looks off. I have some doubts, but are not sure to dismiss it all together.

The wire embroidery gauge and type are off for me, and the quality is sub-standard - letter formation is very poor. I would suggest this is a reproduction.

I agree - particularly towards the end of the band where it looks like fatigue started to set in....

If a faker puts all his time in faking this text with the goal to make more profit on it, then why would he not make a much rarer ct?
For example a 'SS-TotenkopfverbÀnde' or a 'SS-Heimwehr Danzig' or so??? Just a thought...

Imo this ct is okay. Just of less quality then others.

I agree with logic - why not fake the Elbe - only four letters and then times the value - except that it is probably easier to shift a more common band.

The only way to be 100% certain of this band is to see it in hand - it may be OK but I would not buy on the basis of the photos.

Isn't this the hound's tooth band material?

Here is a bullion Deutschland cufftitle that came from a veteran grouping that Waffenreich acquired. Use it for comparison.

Well tgn, its difficult to compare those two ct's because they are both different existing types.

How about the quality of the embroidery.
