Stange Honor Ring

Wanted to get some opinions on this ring. As mint a ring as I have ever seen, especially for a 1943. Has a Boyle certification. I have only done preliminary research on it but a very strong candidate is (and I hope it is) Martin Stange SS Obersturmbahnfuhrer, commander of 16 SS Panzer. Any recommendations for research?
