They don't want their faces attached to their material. The Wittmann video was OK - but they are getting to be the same every time. 90% daggers and Walter Kanzler. I would like to see more other items like SS cloth shown. Maybe dealers are afraid of pictures because collectors would be critical of their wares, but they are losing business.

I'm not sure I completely understand people not wanting pictures taken, they are putting the items on display for the public, and you are certainly free to buy them but you can't take a picture of them? Seems a bit odd.

Every military collecting site has their strong and weak points. GDC is one of the best when it comes to daggers period. The Jewelry section is kind of run autonomously by yours truly and we have a great international membership. WAF also has many strong points/sections,,,anyway..

Better to ask a paleontologist..............The dinosaur software in here necessary to support downloaded images is pathetic to say the least. This site needs a complete re-hab with current, not 1980's, technology.

Gaspare is correct about photos these days. Those dealers can call the security guards on you if you are taking photos without their permission and have you escorted - or dragged out of the show if you still persist after a warning.

It is a load of BS I agree that you cannot take photos but they do have the right to say no.

Who are these "dealers"..?? Your paid admission price does not default to the whims of stupidity. Since when, does any restriction about photography, show up on any ticket or program????

Maybe they should wear masks like the Lone Ranger. If you report a fake you may be dragged in front of Roland Freisler.

Those are very nice. Here is my from the 16th Standarte. Do you perhaps have any pictures of yours? Not that much to be seen in the video.

Hello Christian! Very beautiful! In fact it looks just like mine. Which is from the II/76 Standarte. It is also pictured in Ulric's Book. I am on the road heading to a meeting, but I do have a couple pictures of it. They are not the best, they are the ones that the seller sent to me when I was purchasing it. But they will do. I will post them this evening. Or, if I can squeeze it in before my meeting I will.

                                Thanks for showing yours!
