To me it looks like an armband 'scrunched' at where his elbow is.
Way too high for a raute.
If it was a raute he would have an eagle on his sleeve and probably collar tabs.as well; don't see any.
Most likely it is just an armband.Comment

It does appear as though there is a sleeve eagle present on what looks to be a custom tailored summer-weight tunic. Also, it looks like he's badged out as at least an Untersturmfuhrer, although he seems to be wearing an EM belt buckle.Comment

I do not agree; the SD raute is positioned correctly - although a bit high which is not unusual- and there is IMO clear evidence of an sleeve eagle. The tunic is the SD summer tunic with lower slash pockets. The absence of collar tabs on these tunics is not uncommon.Originally posted by Texasuberalles View Post
