Very nice - ! Does it still function OK?

Nice to see a desk typewriter with the runes key.

When we see typewriters on this side of the Atlantic, they are usually the portable ones and more often than not, they have a beat up cover.

I have often wondered how many of these were actually used by the SS?

Or were all typewriters made during the TR (or after a certain date) made with the runes key?

Or were runes keys only included in special typewriters made for the government?

Or do I just think too much?
