    Dot pattern camo cap ...

I know that the chances are slim but still would like to hear some opinions about this cap. Thanks!

The fact it is trying to be a factory-produced item and the burn mark to the skull make we think it's a NO. These are not known to have been factory made but there are photos of field-produced ones.

IMO not an original cap. Guess it´s for reinactment.

It looks like to be original 44 stripped cotton material .

There's a famous one of some W-SS troops being repatriated after the mass release in the 50's and there's a guy leaning out of the train with a dot cap.

I'll see if I can find it BUT we are leaving on our holidays in the camper for 2+ weeks so I'm a bit busy.

A field made specimen, at best. It appears accurately made, the field sewer must have had some tailoring skill and size stamps to mark his realizations. Wonder why no nat’l emblem, perhaps in order to make the cap appear less conspicuous somehow. I wouldn't take it, AFAIMC, this is exactly when I have confidence in regulation specimens only.

                        complete rubbish.
If it were field made as you said it would have straw sticking out everywhere.
The term is was overused when talking about crap.
                        This is really bad.
