Paramilitary officer belt improved by a bogus post war added SS marking.

The stamping in the leather matches the few originals I’ve seen.

What exactly is the evidence it is post war?

Well, the SS-logo overlaps the "34"logo. Never seen that on originals. The leather looks nice and could be period, but as said: I think the stamps are added later.

                  The overlapping doesn't mean anything!

Gary, Possible to post pictures of the other originals you've seen that match this stamping with over-lapping of the symbols and numbers?

Also Krikke, in your opinion all SS leather stampings are done with 3 seperate stamps? Could you also show some pictures of other orignal SS stampings on leather that have this overlap on them?

                    Thanks!

Meanwhile, did anybody check Paul Radermacher as an SS officer? Which rank? Which unit did he serve in?

Marco, I think you'll find he was an Officer in the fire brigade rather than the SS...

Features and quality belt lead to believe it.
