I have also found out this morning that these early boards were used for both branches SS and Heer.

Hi Manalishi,

It was advertised as Artillery in the headline but listed with ‘Pink Waffenfarbe piping’ for Panzer Division. Someone simply got their SS branches mixed up

It was originally listed as SS rather than Heer

It really doesn't matter what they were listed as. With this style tongue, they could be early SS or Heer panzer. But during this early time period, there would be many more Army personnel qualified to wear these straps than SS, so statistically they were probably intended for Army panzer.
