    Another angry bird for review

    I picked this one up at the Badger Military show this past weekend. I really like the look of it, but I wanted to run it up the flag pole and see who saluted. The photos do not do the bright highlights justice. Opinions appreciated.

    A beautiful example of one of the earliest 1936 pattern SS eagles, (dated 35), and by unknown maker. As are all early SS eagles, this one is made of CupAl. So far, I do not think that this variation has been faked at all. Anyway, a well known original.

            Nice piece! I can make out the RZM marking and "35" date but what is the marking/number above the date?
