String for the Tarnjacke. Opinion please

<hr style="color:#181B16; background-color:#181B16" size="1"> Hello, i got this string from a very estimate seller, belong to the collar of a Tarnjacke (75 cms lenght) i bought from him some years ago. As he correctly said me, it's remounted and cames from an old collector found, 100% original.
What is your thought about it? Please let me know.
