Under What CLASSIFICATION of manufacturing were Zeltbahns??

I am researching manufacturers of Zeltbahns, in the different cities and towns.

SO....I would like to know what "type" of manufacturing did Zelts fall under??

***For example did it fall in UNDER Bekleidungswerk? This answer of what type of
manufacturing is important because I will use local German phonebooks to help further identify
unknown manufacturers and their locations. Please help identify the class of manufacturing Zelts
fell under!!

In official SS Price Lists the Zeltbahn was in the following section: B: Ausruestung (equipment).

I would disagree. While Ausrustung was the proper term for such “equipment”, so were holsters, bread bags and such. It is too generic a term to be used for the type manufacturing. I would think Textile would be more appropriate. Are any manufacturers actually known?

One way to find the names of makers is to research RZM manufacturers.
As I said above, from a distribution standpoint the Verwaltungsamt-SS classified them under the catgory: Ausruestung. As the Verwaltungsamt-SS almost certainly only used RZM approved suppliers then the next classification up the supply chain becomes RZM Unterabteilung A = Ausruestung. In this department were ten Gruppen of which the manufacturers of "Zeltbahn-Brotbeutel" were A/7.
