      I leave the authenticity to the experts, but I can not imagine bidding 35,000+ euro plus buyer's premium on an item like this without some provenance and having the actual original owner's name. We will see if it sells.

        I agree. Also I would really like to discover infos about the badge.

        I always considered it as a fake

                Yes, this is the one from weitze's site. It has been on there for a long time. I'm pretty sure this was the same price that they were asking for it.

                  The item was not sold yesterday so probably back in Weitze's inventory. Has anyone been able to ascertain if the Tux badge was legit?

                    Weitzes price was 38000€ and I am also interested in knowing if the tuxedo badge is original, but I am only interested in opinions from people who actually have real knowledge of these badges.
