    Hello Coogan!

    I can tell you that those extra lines around the bottom edges that you are referring to, do appear on original zinc Wagner eagles. I think that this was due to a slight misalignment with the dies, (or something similar), but this feature is proper in this case. Also, this can be very tricky, because this feature does closely resemble the effect that often happens with many castings that have similar, but improper cast edges. Hope this helps!

        The sweatband has definitely been re-stitched and I think they used the same sewing thread for the lining.

          Hiya, it was the nearly joined head and shoulder, the lack of detail to the neck and the extra around the bottom of the inner feathers (as Chris already pointed out) Looking on the phone it looked to be a repainted 360/475 Austrian special from the late 70's.

                It is uncommon to find WH visors by them but they did make some nice pieces.

                i have never seen an SS visor by them prior to this one, but I learned long ago to never say never.

                Obviously, the concern is a rebanded WH visor (to include the pasteboard), but I cannot see anything in these photos that leads me to that conclusion.

                It would need an in-hand to be sure.
