The SS membership pin looks good so far however it is very important to get a clear closeup picture of the back to be able to tell for sure. The area where the serial number should be worries me a little from this picture.

On this picture everything looks good. But like said: you need extreme close-ups. Some fake micro casted SS-Zivilabzeichens are very well made.

Yes it is a bit better but if you want to put your mind at rest you have to check the digits and the letters with a strong magnifier. The edges of the digits and letters must be razor sharp. If they are micro casted they will be blurry and uneven and partly filled with residue. Keep in mind this is not visible with the naked eye; you must check them under strong magnification. The micro casted fakes are very good at normal eye level.

http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...d.php?t=809839 In this thread is an microscopic image of a digit "7" taken from one of the serial numbers of my SS-Zivllabzeichens. That kind of sharp lines is what you have to see with original struck numbers instead of micro casted examples.

Here it is under extreme magnification. Note the straight lines of this digit "7" and the clean empty hollow interior of the digit.

thanks to all .a very interesting area.Total mine field ha ha .
The pin is sadly not with me and I cannot examine it further.
I will take a punt at the set of 5 the 2 party type badges are repo but the hj and the RAD are good .
