SS Visor Hat eagle - is it real?

Just got this SS eagle and wondered if it is original. Any opinions would be appreciated. Thanks.

Sorry, but this is the typical fake known as the "pigeon-head". It's the most common fake SS eagle and is also what I would call, the equivalent to the "V-chest" SS belt buckle fake. In other words, these are everywhere and very well known throughout the collecting community.

Yes a pidgeon head fake . Well known to a long time collector like Chris but not so long ago I was tempted by one of these . Fortunately I did not buy it . Sorry if you got burned. Ask before you buy.
