This was in a batch of Political collar tabs and sleeve insignia,,,is this a known variant of the Auslander Organization tab, I think its silver wire that has tarnished but its a nice one!

Nice original piece, IMHO.
This is the pre-1937 pattern of the AO diamond with an early paper RZM tag. I believe it should have piping. Gold was worn by polical leaders and silver / aluminum by SS. There were also SA men in this organization, but I'm not certain if they wore gold or silver. Because it does not have a pre-1938 BeVo RZM SS tag, I'd say this one is SA or PL. it may have been gold at one time, but lost its color.
