these tags have been around a long time. And there has been disagreement on them.. I think your best to post this in the ID section of this site..

Darren. Good morning personally in my opinion the tag is genuine and matches examples I have had in my ground found collection.

Original tab. A wire containing about 30-40 Galician dogtags all marked Stab has been found in Ukraine some years ago. Probably thrown out as remains of the division tried to break out of the Brody pocket.
