    SS combat tunic

    Hello Guys,
Here is my latest find for my collection. It is a 1940 style tunic and the cufftitle has been removed. It was probably removed at the end of the war. I wished I knew what it was, but leaving the tunic "as is".

Thanks for the nice replies guys. Here are pictures of the markings and where the cuff title was once. The maker's mark is "M 42". I do not know who this maker is and maybe someone can help us with this. The size is "92", which is about a medium. The extremely pointed collar is common to SS tunics. I don't know if you can see it in these pictures, but I outlined where the cuff title was at one time.

                Thanks,

                Robert

                    Very nice tunic, congrats.
What exact manufacturer is written before Munchen, any chance of making this out?
                    cheers

It certainly is Mayerhofer München, a known ss contractor.

The tunic itself is in fact an M41 due to its rayon lining. M40s would have cotton.
