For me this is not a good armband. The "ribs" on the circle are in wrong direction, the tape used on the swastika is too wide, the tape edging sewn on is sloppy and the base red material is too course. Plus this would be an Allgemine armband. The Waffen SS would have worn sleeve eagles.

Agreed not Waffen and the swastika is simply sloppy.

Thank you all for the time which you began to look at this armband.

I have contacted the retailer, he gave me the proofs of the origin of this armband.
I fell of very high, when I saw where it come from... I am really surprised, and he too, he didn't think, to have bought a reproduction over there.

Sadly not one of us is perfect, and we all make mistakes at some point. It is how we respond to those mistakes that define us. Ratisbon's has a good reputation and I think they are an honest dealer. But as they say: "buy the item and not the story" (or the dealer)...

An SS armband selling for around $200US is also an indication of some lack of confidence in other buyers as IMO they should be around $350-500US items.

This is the type of construction and materials you're looking for. I also concur that a nice example of this band should be 400-500 USD.
