    Hi all,

May I please have your thoughts and opinions on the following hammerhead sleeve eagle before I list it on Estand.

Two of these patterns in the same month! This is a great eagle and would be a great addition to any collection. I don't believe this is a hammerhead but I think was a very early pattern produced. Hope that helps

Many thanks for the feedback. I would be a bit peeved off if it is not a hammerhead unless it is equal in rarity and collectibility as it was bought as a hammerhead in good faith

          Barry . . .
I personally don't believe this eagle should be classed as a hammer head eagle.
For me there are only possibly 3 that everyone should have seen and know when they appear.
It could be classed as a member of the HH family but nothing more.
Did you pay full price for it as this particular eagle is quite common to find the HH aren't . . .
          I hope this helps
          Regards David

PS I suspect I'm gonna be told different but that's just my opinion

            Hi David,

I did pay full price but I must admit that HH or not is is still a nice bird.
Do you agree that it is an early eagle HH or not?

            Is mise

This all depends on what you mean by early
              Personally I believe this eagle's history starts approx 1940 ~ 41

                Hi David,

Reasonably early so. It is a shame it is not a HH eagle as was advertised

I agree with David about only 3 very well known hammer head patterns. But it is a rare bird and you don't see them appear very often. Could you give us a range of price you paid or will be asking? I'm courteous?
