These ID cards pop up on every militaria forum on Facebook with the question "is it real?". Well you can guess how much laughs they every time get.

There was even a guy or admin who had bought such crap for 150€, he kept believing by high and low it was original because he got it in a Romanian museum and the curator AND the minister of Culture gave a signed CoA. Well me and a friend were banned because we gave him facts and couldnt stop laughing.

You would believe that, if you collect German or starting, they will have basic knowledge of how a Soldbuch or Wehrpass would look like.

When I first started out (18 months ago) I bought some tabs, a cuff title, and visor skull and eagle set from a guy. All claiming to be legit of course. I traded him a VERY high end pistol for all those goods. Although In hind sight my trade wasn’t worth half of what those items would have been worth if legit. Needless to say I don’t collect SS stuff anymore.
