    Allach porcelain

    Gentelmen, maybe you could help me with these pieces.

    i don´t doubt, that they are original, but what would be fair price for each piece?

    Thank you very much for your help.

              Hello Ostmaerker,

              All very nice and desirable porcelain pieces - in terms of value - there’s full retail price - there’s let it sit on eStand for 2 months price and then there’s the price it to move relatively quickly price. Dennis Porell has some really nice Allach pieces sit for ages and that’s not due to any reason other than it takes a while to move stuff at full retail - here’s my stab at prices and I may be off a bit but anyways...

              * candleholder - I have 2 of these in white - I think this earthen brown version is rarer - I paid I think $1300us each from ThirdReichArts.com - I’d guess circa $1500 for this

              * painted squirrel $1200-1500

              * hound - $2000-2200

              * lamb $1200

              * fawn $1200

              * KPM Bell with base - not sure about this - maybe $2,000?

              Kris Lindblom at ThirdReichArts.com will know what these go for as will Dennis Porell - looks like a $10k collection

                  Here’s what I’ve seen about Allach prices - some dealers have crazy prices on what are very common pieces - like the Munich maiden - there’s many of these around - a very common piece - I’ve seen dealers ask - and eventually get $800-1000 for one - even $1200 - but try to sell it later and see what u get

                  When buying Allach it’s best to be patient and wait - occasionally u will see a good and rare piece come up on eStand for ok dollars

                    A local antiques shop had five of these for sale several years ago, I stopped in a few weeks after they had been sold. We got to talking about odd items and she mentioned that the buyer had said they were Allach after he'd completed the deal, she got 50.00 each for them.
                    I've always loved the attention paid to the smallest detail on the Allach items, that squirrel and the fawn are two pieces that I would dearly (deerly?) love to own.
                    Beautiful.
                    Eric
