Maybe shade between the 2 weaves? Like when you open a book and in the centre between the pages.

The weaves should go into each other. Even if this was an original, I would not buy it because it differs so much, and its not beautiful too.

I think it is a good one. they're not all perfect. Things happen during production that would cause minor inconsistencies.

Hi,

those patches (this one and the one in the other topic found by ETN) look suspiciously similar to some the fake Danish Kragenspiegels...
I do not like any of them, and i remember saving the previous model and archiving it under "fake".

Dachau shields do not have such "differences" as far i remember checking in the past years...
