One of the most common shields but how often do you see them worn. Is there any other pictures known than the officer in the Saharinan?

Unissued Dachau - not so interesting. Worn - interesting

Not often seen used. I have seen two used ones before (I believe one came with a used Skanderbeg cuff). Both were from German cadre and were found in Germany.

Interesting. Thanks for sharing. Think I read somewhere that they were never issued to the volunteers, only the German officers. That would explain why they never shows up in pictures.
