    Opinions on this M43?
    Recently bought this and some other items from an old man selling off his collection due to poor health/age.

          I would really appriciate some thoughts on this one....is it genuine? Aprox value?
          Got some items from an old collection....some were fake and some were genuine items.

              Trap

              Hello,

              IMO, the trap is good. It is another version of the single row of teeth, which you usually see in grey/green. It is not as prevalent as the BEVO Wuppertal style.
              There are at least four versions of the machine woven single row of teeth, grey/green trap, IMO.

              Here is a loose example of this style.

                  To me it looks like a denazified real officers M43 which had an SS trap hand stitched on after the war. Had the crown piping been white than of course WSS branch,
                  but this could have been an army M43 too.

                    Yes, that is also possible. As I tend to say from time to time: photos are only photos and an inspection IRL is always to prefer.
