Need help and opinions on this WSS Italian Gabardine Officer M-43? Does it look original and correct? Opinions requested please- condidering on a trade but want to vet it here first.

I agree, looks like a mint period cap! (with proper Italian striped HBT liner)

I had it in my hands, and I agree with the guys, it is an original mint never worn one.
You can find this type of cap in mint conditions since many were never delivered.

A selling feature of this white-piped Italian wool cap for me is that is does not have the studio markings - just a good clean unissued cap.

Additional photos could reveal issues, but there is nothing I see so far that suggests post-war construction.
