Fake Gahr mark being added to silver brooches

And this is a fake Gahr mark that I've seen being added to many different brooches, in this case an Estonian Viking ship brooch. His name is masterblaumann on German ebay.
Maybe he is on here and can comment?

        Nice work CapR..

Many of these pins were made in the 20s to 50s and have good value to them [many with proper artists hallmarks],,,IF, if people would just leave them alone and stop with the embellishments on front and bogus hallmarks to rear.. Dam shame they're getting ruined...

I don't know anything about these broaches but a blind man can see that the badge that started this thread is totally different than the one the capt. posted. The design while basically similar, if you compare them side by side, they are not remotely the same. The capt.'s broach is very poor looking, soft, with weak details everywhere. The originals posters badge is far higher quality in every respect.
            Looking for a 30 '06 Chauchat magazine.

Here is a nicer condition example. Plus if you polish it down to remove the Estonian marks, it will look better anhow.

Fact remains it is not Gahr. It is Estonian.

Still would like to see the documentation you mentioned.

also reminiscent of Latvian design and the other Baltic countries. also other regions from Sweden on south of the globe!
Viking ships, rune type designs were popular everywhere at one point in time or another even now.. For us its pinning it down to a certain time period [1920s to 1940s.] A 20 year or so period!
Now isn't nice when things are hallmarked?
Gahrs hallmark during the 3rd reich era had his name in it, Munich. No emblem. Occasionally if he had room he'd go back to the old Imperial hallmarks, Crown, half moon etc. ,,or it would be by to the SS Culture marks IF approved so..

CapR. is just showing these things are everywhere.. Pull up 'Viking ship pin' on German eBay. They're everywhere from thin punched out cheapie ones to hi quality excellent detailed pieces. ,,,and yes some are hallmarked to WW2 era. These have a good value.
anyway,, It's easy to obliterate hallmarks and/or add them..
                  yeah it looks cool, enjoy

another ss added viking ship brooch

I posted one just like this earlier with no runes on sails. Here, they added the runes to the sails to increase value. I doubt this is original application. Anything is possible, but it is not likely original.
