        I have looked at this for a while now . . .
If this was offered to me I would have to pass
The runes are very sloppy they are not a mirror image of one another
spacing and thickness is uneven I'm also not over keen on the buckram too
lastly too much glue on the reverse with much spare material
However this tab for me could and would cause many problems for someone
which I feel could be dangerous coz of the materials used
        Regards David

Hi, is this what you mean by classic e-medals buckram? Is this one a fake? Thanks

i would say its not a well known fake, but still kind of unknown pattern, appearing in the last few years. I thnik its original thread, but i would not say it was made before 1945

like these 2 tunics. I just dont like them and consider them for untouched pre 45 items.
the tunics themselves are not bad but with this clean insignia...

I dont know i might be just to paranoic, but still

sorry i cannot post pictures, thry had some wierd protection from copying files

                        Tab

I also would pass on this tab. David enumerated many discrepancies which I agree with.

                          Thanks for the replies.

It is 'sloppy' in terms of how its put together, the materials look pretty good though. I don't know when it was made but it's not recent. From a California militaria show in 89/90 or thereabouts, 10 years or so before this forum started, so way to late to run! ....and so also probably not related to the e-medals examples linked here.

A little more effort would have made this a lot more dangerous. Like more accurate unterlagen and just being a bit neater with the aluminium tube....

Maybe it was a Friday fake, perhaps the Monday to Thursday ones were a lot neater and real.

How about this RZM tag? Looks beat up and been wet but is it genuine?

The material of your tab.one that inside is not the original the original lining was made from another canvas sheet.and covered with fish glue on top.One full of eyes see a fake.despite the fact that some tabs have original materials.I apologize for my English.I communicate through an interpreter.sometimes the meaning is distorted
