    Information about an SS Officer

    I am new on this Forum so hello to everyone. I got not long ago a Award Document from a foreign award to a German SS Hauptsturmfuhrer. The Document is dated in 1941 so it is possible he got in Rank higher up later in war. Is it possible to get any Information about him somewhere? All i have is his Name and Rank. If ill post this in the wrong Forum then i am sorry. Any Information is very welcome

    you can post his name, many WAF members have the SS listings that were published each year, so they may get more infos on your guy.

        Thank you for the replays. I am on the lookout for a Dienstalterliste from 1944 now, maybe someone have one.

            I have three DAL's issued in 1944, The July 1944 issue will list officers ranked as SS-Hstuf, the others are later in the year and only list SS-Stubaf/Ostubaf and SS-Staf/Oberstgruf. What name do you need ? Peter

                Thank you, i know the Site they have the DALs until the year 1943, and there he is not on it. And Peter here was looking at a 1944 and there was nothing as well.....is a bit strange with this Name....Document is absolute original Wartime, so he did exist why he is not on the DALs i have no idea at all
