    Help With Police Summer Uniform

    Hi all!

I have been looking at this police, summer weight tunic and pants. Para military is not my expertise so I would like your opinions on this. These pictures are the only ones I have, sorry.

IMHO is that the tunic looks good?

    Thank you, Steve

          Hello,

The eagle is Schutzpolizei, not SS polizei, and from here looks good. The tunic material looks good. I must say however; that I believe that "open collar" tunics were not per regulations although I have seen period photos of officers with tailor made tunics with open collars.

The dagger hanger is a bit odd. The rank is sergeant. I think in some cases they could wear a sword, so that might explain it.

In my experience these summer weight HBT tunics for city assigned police have been cut in the standard "Rock" police style, this is cut like a field tunic. That said I must admit eagles, not tunics are my forte'.

There are some police uniform experts lurking in the police forum, I might suggest trying there.

          Regards,
          Bill Unland

Is it just me or do the buttons close on the wrong side? That or it's not buttoned...?

                I thought that as well.
                It buttons the 'female' way.
