An interesting picture actually, I must say I have no knowledge of the Langemarck Rgt. but as far as I can see he is a member of the Totenkopf Rgt. and he is wearing a Langemarck cufftitle so was he assigned to the Langemarck Rgt. or did he attend the Langemarck Studium or something? Can't find an Englisch language version of the Langemarck Studium, only this German Wikipedia version ( for those who have not heard of the Langemarck Studium ).

Yes, my immediate thought was that I'd seen that photo many moons ago as well.

See, I'm not going senile after all !

Ah I have checked Angolia's Cloth Insigna ... I mixed some things up ....
In the part where the parts of the Das Reich division are described it says for Langemarck ( Totenkopf ):
At formation / 4. SS Totenkopfstandarte "Ostmark",
              September 1939 / SS-TK-Standarte 4 "Östmark",
              25 February 1941 / SS-Infanterieregiment 4,
              20 April 1942 * / Ss-Infanterieregiment ( mot. ) 4 "Langemarck" ...
              March 1943 / Ss-Schützenregiment 4 "Langemarck".
              And
The personnel of the SS-Regiment 'Langemarck" wore the SS runes on the right collar insigne as with the rest of the division. It would appear that at no time did the regiment wear the "Trifos" ( 3 legged swastika ) as was earlier thought.

I got that mixed up with the cufftitle of 27. SS Freiwilligen Greandier Division "Langemarck" ( - 22 October 1943 - 6. SS Freiwilligen "Sturmbrigade Langemarck" )
              19 October 1944 * - 27. SS Freiwilligen Grenadier Division "Langemarck".

              Sorry for that.
