I was considering CuAl witch very very thin Alu layer.
Bbut why the alu change colour to yellow gold.
In different light condition it is sometimes almost gold but sometimes mat yellow witch dark bronze areas.
Im not 100% sure that it is brass but the whole alloy or alloys and pin constructions look strange.
Maybe they used different technology or alloys as we knows today.
