The teeth say it all for me. IMO I like it.

I must say that I do not like this one. A few things; The shape and details of the upper-left crossbone appear way off, The sutures are miss shaped on the forehead, and the entire skull has that wet, soft appearance which is never good, (while the color of the base material looks odd to me as well). I also see what looks like some pitting on the back side, (especially inside the crossbones and jaw areas), and the outer edge appears too thick, imo. The areas around the eyes of the skull also show some flaws that I do not like. Lastly, the prongs are far from acceptable, imo, and have obvious cast flaws on them. They are also way too wide, imo.

      Just my thoughts,

      Chris

I agree the pins look fat, and with the slimey appearence. I'm not seeing the casting flaws. I am here to learn so would like to hear other opinions from collectors too

          It is a decent copy.
But a fake, the thickness (fat) of the contour seen from behind, the hooks and the lack of front details

            pins are too wide

I also think the pins are an issue.

If Chris does not like it , I would pass , IMO.

The pins and appearance of the material (what is it even made of ?) were enough for me

Coogan, here are the areas that I was referring to on the back side that show some pitting. Hope this helps!

That's all well and good but one needs to learn for himself. If Chris got hit by a bus tomorrow then what.

As a copy its one of the best I have seen.

                        oooops
                        Coogan, you're right.
It is a "transitonial Deschler", the great rzm with the mark in the circle below the m, the 5 of 1/52 typical in these etc ...

Funia has one of these type.

I got lost in the hooks and compared to the more "normal and known" Deschler.

I like this one personally. The pins are just bent at an odd angle to me.
