    Interesting picture

    I'm over on the Firearms Forum, showing a few pictures of an MP30 that I just bought day before yesterday. I was showing some pictures of the weapon as carried by troops. This one picture, after I put it up, really intrigued me.
    Check it out. A Heer enlisted man with an SS TK underneath his breast eagle. Weird, huh??!

    What the heck in an MP-30? That looks like an MP-34.

    Skull? Well what can we say, he wants to be with the elite cloth Guy‘s on Tony Barto.

    Skull is a sign of excellence. Next he will be wearing a palm smock.

      yes mp30 never exist ,we have mp18/28/34 and ofcourse the later ones 38/40

        Und auch

        Do not forget the MP-35.

        A good run of MP-35‘s were made to fufull an SS contract and marked accordingly.

            Hmm

            Okay, but I thought Suhl in Thuringia was the mfg. of the MP-35.

            The SS contract guns were made by Junker & Ruh in I think Karlsruhe.

                    As the reservists of the Allgemeine-SS were drafted into the Wehrmacht at the outbreak of war possibly he was demonstrating his former allegiance ?

                    We have no way of knowing for sure.
