    TK tab for double checking

We had picked this one up with a collection we acquired. Initially I looked at the "bad" embroidery around the nose area and though it was just a "Delta" fake, as there were a couple other delta tabs in there. But looking at it again, I was like "Hmmmm..." as next to the Delta tabs the material stitching, buckram are all different on this one. so just to be sure before it goes in the fake bin, I am posting here. I just don't want to toss a real factory reject.
    so what say ye?
    Thanks!

    Hi Jerry
I like the look of the reverse the buckram and the material of the tab. The skull as you say could just be bad embroidery the teeth and jaw look a bit long in addition to the nose area you already spotted.
I've never been great with skull tab . I hope it turns out to be good.
    Cheers
    Dave

It may well be good . . .
But you try selling it when the time comes
I wouldn't have it in my collection

        Tab

I would say a badly done original.

Thanks guys, well at least I don't feel so bad for having been on the fence on this one. I am going with "fugly but real".

Probably the angriest looking totenschädel I've ever seen!

              I don’t like it.

And if it was a factory reject, why would it still be intact?

I agree with the above, the back is better than the front.

Actually I don’t like the back so much anymore.

                Just my opinion.

I'll try and dig out some of my known good ones and do a side by side.

Jerry, do a search for Buchenwald made totenkopfs. I suspect this is a Buchenwald made original with the machine out of adjustment.

Possibly made by a worker that was pass due for a coffee break
