Thats who my family were engaged with their first day in d day with their 155mm batteries. Tanks on the caen road. Those kids though fought fanatically for every inch like lions!!!!

Thankyou guys for yoiur input - As far as i know this cufftitle was more of an award than a regular Waffen SS Divisional cuffband -so they were not present at Caen etc etc

HJ Bevo cuffband is the best one.
Followed by Wiking, Das Reich and Wallonien.

You are right, the HJ cuffband was an award. It came together with an Award Document, they are very rare!

I personally like "de Ruiter" Bevo like cuff, which is also very, very Rare.

It was indeed an award but by late war there were some given out to recruits to boost morale. Pictures of the cufftitle in wear are almost harder to find then the actual cufftitle. I've only ever seen one picture where you can clearly see it and 2 other pictures claiming it to be worn, but it could easily be LAH as the pics weren't clear...anyone have any?

Sorry I should have specified in wear in the field. I've seen that series before, but pictures of a group of soldiers, or individuals wearing the title. The only one I've seen is a Sturmann taken POW by the Americans in the Ardennes.
