SS KZ Concentration Camp Guard Collar Tab / Real or What?

I understand that there is a legend about a "cache" of these being found at Dachau in VF+ condition. I'm too skeptical to believe most of these legends and I initially called these suspect. I found one similar with very similar materials generally accepted as authentic. So I thought I would seek other opinions before I advise my friend on buying them...

Sorry for the quality, I am working with cell phone images.

The other is a sleeve diamond and it's original too.

I believe Himmler called up some 10K older Wehrmacht reservists and had them reassigned to guard duties in the camps. If you reference pics of these men you will see that the majority of them are wearing Heer breast eagles and those double-armed swastika tabs.

... This narrative aligns with the fact that this "came out of the woodwork" with two Volksturm cuff titles among other items. If these guards were older Wehrmacht Reservists this man may likely have belonged to the "Duetscher Volksturm Wehrmacht."

I think Himmler tapped these men for that duty sometime in 1943, or thereabouts.
