    Bulgarian SS

    Hi guys,

    Im kind of dowing a research here.
    Does any of you have, had or know anything about bulgarian SS units?

    Should be with this collar tab and arm insignia.
    I saw one of these shields, but was said it was a fake.

    Looked quite OK to me as they were only hand made , never in mass production so its normal that collectors accept it as a fake.

    About the helmet, looks interesting too.

    there was supposed to be a SS Bularian regiment. and there was plans for a division but it was too late in the war and never came to be..

    That insignia was made. The arm shield [I believe Bevo type ] belongs to a member here not sure it he still owns it as it was years ago..

    Occasionally you will find Bulagrian m-43 field caps with SS insig on them. Or Bulgarian helmets with the painted runes.. All items that take a lot of faith..

    your best bet is to hit the internet hard...
