As below - where are the medical cyphers?
Ok, both those and the lah would go in the same place but there's no indication of those boards ever having cyphers.
At that rank both would have fitted if need be.
For me, if it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck, it's a duck.
New boards with added cyphers and they didn't think about the medical cyphers.

Or the person was promoted and at the time no medical cyphers were available. We don't know but can only speculate and more strange combinations are out there with full provenance, but in this case we can only guess.

IMO, all insignia and base jacket are fine. When were the insignia applied? Nobody knows and even in hand we can likely only speculate. Personally, I would "value" the tunic at the sum total of the parts and maybe add 10% or so because it is a sexy looking tunic. It is priced on the website at a level where I would expect to see an untouched piece with bona fide provenance however.

          Well golly gee

If you wasted a good part of your life staring at SS tunics, like I have, then this is a one look slap-together. All the clues are obvious. And for even more obvious reasons I cannot explain them.

Maybe not Untersturmführer - but there once was a Hauptsturmführer . . .

Sure - you may have wasted much of your life staring at SS tunics, Dr. Strangelove . . . but Robert lives in the town of Fritz Hollmann - where for obvious reasons, another Dr. left his tunic of similar kind behind - seeking anonymity. Being a "native" of such a locale, I'm certain Robert bears some advantage over all of us - when it comes to discovering tunics worthy of wasting a lifetime, staring away . . .
