SS Honour Ring - Thoughts

Hey all.
I came across this board while I was researching an honour ring I was lucky enough to come across.
From what I've read it sounds like there are a fair number of fakes out there. I realize you cant't say for sure, but what does everyone seem to think about this one?
I can't seem to find much about the original recipient that makes sense with the dates.

I don’t recall seeing a 38, but from what I see-

As bad as the pictures are, it looks like an original 30s ring.

What can be said about this ring from these pictures? Nothing with any sense.

you right Antonio, shots very bad (mabe used nokia 3310)
but at first look, ring dont have any problems ... ONLY at first
this does not mean that he is the original, for a more correct opinion, we need good pictures

The photos certainly aren't great, but its what I could get in a hurry with my cell phone camera.
The ring is locked up half a country away now, it'll stay within the family. I was curious about it more than anything.

I'd really like to source the original owner and try to get some history on that.

Although the photos are not the greatest from the photos it looks as if it is probably an original . Has all the characteristics of a 1938 Honor Ring inside and out. Regards Don
