That doesn’t even include the 17.5%. buyers premium. A couple of bidders must have really wanted the ring.

I wonder where is the border between collecting and human decency.

a criminal responsible for the pacification of the Warsaw Uprising
      and other heaviest crimes
the bigger the f****r, the bigger the profit

      It's unpalatable

People pay big bucks for things that belonged to Himmler. He was one of history's biggest monsters.

Here it is. One of the rarest Honor rings I’ve ever see. Well worth it.

Considering its historical significance, the price seems reasonable. The worst of the worst but it's the only one that is his.

Perhaps the fair market price of this Christmas ring at 26000E plus 17.5% buyer premium=30500E which is app. the same as Schwarz's Christmas ring with asking price of 29900E.
If Heydrich's Christmas ring survives, the asking price is......

                      rkdek,

No unfortunately I did not win this ring, even though I would have loved to add it to my collection, but the bidding was extremely competitive, had to let go at some point. I did not bid on any other items, I was only interested in this ring.

                        Ring

Not to be confrontational, but IMO, it's rude to make comments that demean the collectors of SS items from SS members who engaged in criminal behavior.
The question about collecting vs. human decency clearly implied any purchaser of such items is indecent. This "hand-wringing" over infamous artifacts seems out of place on an SS forum, as everyone who clicks on the site knows the history of the SS, and clicks on it voluntarily, so why act all offended? It's no one's business what the buyer's motivation is, unless he expounds hateful comments on the forum or misbehaves.

                              Friends..I´m digging for 20 years..

I won`t read all the discussions about that ring because THAT FACT

"The rings shows extensive signs of wear. It was worn for over 10 years. Bach-Zelewski needed to size down the ring in 1943/44 since he lost a lot of weight due to serious health problems (his diary is known to us). Therefore, a small plate was period time added covering the area which had his name engraved. The plate was again engraved with his name "d.Bach-Zelewski"

is enough for me to be shure the whole thing is a fake.
