SS Officer cap

This cap was sold some years back at Herman Hirsorica for 5600EU + 23%
Looks like a nice Kliederkasse cap but it seems like the velvet lining is a little thicker?I would say the hairs are a very little bit longer than at other velvet variation.

Can it be that there were several variants of velvet on SS officer caps?

Maybe it's my computer but the piping around the velvet appears fuzzy which would be a red flag for the cap being messed with.
