Panzer beret

Hi all back in the 80s I was given this Panzer beret by an old friend to go in my collection, and have always thought of it as a shelf filler, now I only found this forum last week, I posted a couple of items and have had a good response, so I dug this beret out, it looks well made but I cannot find anything to judge it against
