    SS and Sumpftarn Camouflage

    Hello all,
I have a quick question. Is it possible that the 1st SS Panzer Division could have used sumpftarn camouflage in the Ardennes or did they strictly only use SS pattern camouflage?

    Thank you,
    Mike

Good pictures are needed to prove that, but as I know, it had place that SS used some kind of Wehrmacht garments ( here you have Otto Skorzenny wearing wh parka in the splinter pattern ). I heard about Luftwaffe troops that were using Waffen SS smocks etc.

The Luftwaffe troops you mean are probably the Hermann Goring division. They were users of SS camo. But there are pictures of regular WH soldiers who could have their hands on SS camo. I seen some pics of SS volunteer divisions who used WH camo in field made garments.
