General SS Helmet Question

Greetings my friends, I am seriously considering shopping around for a nice SS helmet to add to my helmet collection. So far, I have limited my collection only to M-35 and M-40 models--I like the look of the rolled edge better than the M-42s. I am having trouble finding SS helmets on any reputable dealer sites for price guidance, so I am curious, what is the average price of a SD M-35 or M-40 SS helmet with no rust and a decal above the 90% condition? I know it will be in the thousands, but if some of you guys would not mind disclosing what you have typically paid for these types of items, I would be grateful, it will help me decide whether I want to save up for this type of item, or give it up as a pipe dream Thanks in advance.

BTW they are very reputable although a little high on prices. Everything they do is original and on consignment from collectors. They are actually based out of Halifax Nova Scotia Canada.

Thanks for the invite Mr. Wood, I will certainly do that. I tell you, the $25 membership fee is THE BEST investment any collector can make in my opinion. To have access to the vast wealth of knowledge in each of these forums is truly a treasure. Anytime I buy something outside the realm of Iron Crosses and common helmets, I run it past "them that know" in the appropriate forum. It is a nice give and take of information and advice we have here, and it has saved me big and served me well.
