                          Wachmantel

                          Hello,
Can’t comment on this being a specific SS item as I can’t see any evidence of a sleeve eagle/ markings in your Link provided, however this looks like an original Wachmantel. (I have the M42 Heer version). This is a M40 example with the smaller collar as opposed to the M42 with larger collar. These coats tended to be issued at unit level rather than to individual soldiers. Top tip - these coats are extremely heavy, so try and avoid hanging it on a hanger as there is a danger that over time the shoulders will become damaged/detached by doing so.
                          Regards,
                          Colin
