SS skull for opinion

Seller is telling that it was found with this cap.
Heer infantry NCO Visor, heer eagle but ss skull?

The cap is totally ruined. The TK is imo a very nice Original Deschler.
Got to see the back if it's marked M1/52 but I have no doubt about that.
I guess the eagle is good as well.

Hard to tell for sure based only on those pics but skull looks orginal.Could be early variant witch RZM stamped on jaw.

Saw the period photo of such mixed combination, so they do exist.

The skull is original. The style of teeth and sutures show that it is of the standard "M1/52--254/42" period of design, (certainly not the earlier "RZM 52" style).

I don't study Heer eagles much, but I certainly believe that it is also original.

Also, I would not be surprised to see this combination of insignia on a Heer visor,
as occasionally you will find similar unorthodox things. Just look at all of the SS visors with Heer eagles, etc. Just my thoughts,

I have seen more then one WH cap with SS insignia on it, without extra holes from the bullion. But this cap looks to have a black border and just a WH adler, this is very possible and period phot's exist of WH adlers on all types of SS visors and tunics.

IMO border was green, this is typical NCO Heer visor cap. also chinstrap is typical for heer but skull was added in the past without any doubt.
